Evolució i Adequació de la Formació Professional a l’illa de Menorca

Abstract

[cat] La formació professional a l'illa de Menorca no ha patit grans canvis tot i les reformes educatives que s'han produït en el sistema educatiu espanyol els últims anys. A través d'aquesta investigació s'ha intentat analitzar quina ha estat la transformació que van patir els diferents centres de secundària amb la instauració de la formació professional a partir de la LOGSE a principis dels anys 90. Amb aquesta reconversió, els centres van incorporar l'ESO i l'educació bàsica es va elevar fins als 16 anys, fet que va provocar un canvi quant a la tipologia d'alumnat que accedia a la formació professional i va flexibilitzar la progressió dintre del sistema educatiu, fet que es fa encara més evident sobretot en els nivells inferiors. D'altra banda, aquests canvis van venir acompanyats d'un procés que tenia com a objectiu, dignificar uns estudis molt menyspreats fins al moment i, d'aquesta manera, es deixessin de veure com un element diferenciador. Pel que fa a l'oferta formativa, aquesta no ha variat gaire des dels seus inicis, tot i els constants avenços tecnològics i els diferents canvis en els principals sectors productius de l'illa. Per tant, s'ha analitzat si l'oferta actual de grau mitjà i superior s'ajusta o no a les necessitats d'un mercat laboral cada cop més canviant i exigent. Com a resultat d'aquest estudi s'han realitzat un seguit de propostes, dirigides a millorar l'estat de l’FP a l'illa de Menorca.

[eng] Vocational training on the island of Menorca has not undergone major changes despite education reforms that have occurred in the Spanish educational system the last few years. Through this research has attempted to analyse what has been the transformation that suffered different secondary schools on the island with the establishment of vocational training from early nineties with the law “LOGSE”. With this restructuring, the centers incorporated ESO (compulsory secondary education), and basic education was raised to 16 years. A fact that you caused a change in the type of students who accessed vocational training and made more flexible the progress within the educational system, which is still more evident especially in the lower levels. On the other hand, these changes came accompanied by a process which had as a goal, dignify a very despised study so far, and in this way left to see as a differentiator. With regard to the training offer, this has not changed much since its inception, all and constant advances in technology and the different changes in the main productive sectors of the island. It was before if the current offer of medium and top grade is adjusted or not to the needs of an increasingly demanding and changing labour market. As result of this study there have been realized a series of proposals aimed at improving the State of the FP on the island of Menorca.
