[esp] La falta de motivación por las matemáticas en la Educación Secundaria es un
elemento recurrente desde hace años según indican los estudios. Este trabajo
aborda cómo los juegos y, más concretamente, el uso de trucos matemáticos en
las aulas (Matemagia) puede ser un elemento motivador para que los alumnos
mejoren su conocimiento de la asignatura.
El estado actual de la Matemagia en las escuelas se analiza mediante entrevistas
con docentes que acumulan años de experiencia en su uso y los resultados de
dos encuestas, una dirigida a profesores y otra a alumnos.
Asimismo, se comentan los elementos necesarios para realizar de forma exitosa
actividades de Matemagia y se proponen diversas actividades para facilitar su
uso dentro de las aulas.
[eng] Lack of motivation for mathematics in Secondary Education has been a recurring
element for years according to studies. This work studies how games and, more
specifically, the use of mathematical tricks in classrooms (Mathemagic) can be a
motivating element for students to improve their knowledge of the subject.
The current state of Mathematics in the schools is analysed through interviews
with teachers who have accumulated years of experience in its use and the
results of two surveys, one addressed to teachers and the other to students.
Likewise, the necessary elements to carry out successfully mathemagic activities
are discussed and several activities are proposed as a example to facilitate their
use within the classroom.
