[eng] The needs of the 21st century society have changed, and education should follow and implement adjustments to its methodologies in order to advance and thrive. In doing so, it would ensure that students are prepared with the abilities and competencies needed to grow and adapt themselves to such changes. For this reason, this dissertation endeavors to design a didactic proposal that encapsulates a wide range of these elements, whiletaking into consideration, as well, the students’ motivation and engagement in the learning process. To do this, the present paper first analyses the previous literature on the subjects related. Then, as the results obtained from preliminary research carried out in order to find out the students’ perceptionsof Project-Based Learningmethodologies show that there is a predilection towards that approach, it presents a proposal based on thesame methodology combinedwith a gamification approach, which seems to also positively influence the students’ motivation. With this combinationof different teaching-learning approaches, the main aim of the proposal is to not only develop a varietyof skills and competencies, but also to help the students engage with the subject. After having implemented the proposal in a real context, results show that the students’ motivation clearly improved when carrying out the project and they were, therefore, more engaged in the subject.
