[eng] Different implications for the conservation of Caretta caretta have been applied
over the last decades. The emergence information that gave us the arrival of new tracking
technology can be used to obtain the actual lack of information over foraging habitats, migratory
behavior and other implications for population assessment. The aim of this paper is to localize
the information gaps and evaluate the different methodologies to fill them. For so, the different
RMUs defined by ICUN Red List of Threatened species has been used to evaluate the
conservation of the subpopulations in terms of ecological implications, use of territory, how the
new technology impacts on it, and how human impacts and economy affect to their
development. Finally exposing different ways to combine the methods available for the different
concerned countries, considering their economic level.
