Evaluación del efecto rebote del peso y dieta proteinada en pacientes obesos del centro médico Prev-age, Torre Pacheco

Abstract

[spa] En mi experiencia profesional, he podido observar que los pacientes obesos presentan dificultad para mantener el peso perdido a largo plazo, tras la realización de una intervención dietética inicial. En este trabajo, se evaluará sí existe relación entre el efecto rebote de aumento de peso tras realizar una dieta de las clasificada como muy baja en calorías (VLCD), en concreto una dieta proteinada, muy utilizada en el tratamiento de la obesidad en la actualidad; o más bien, éste aumento de peso, se debe a la falta de adherencia al nuevo estilo de vida, no cambiando el paciente los hábitos alimenticios y de ejercicio, tras el alta médica. Para ello, se evaluarán a los pacientes obesos que realicen un programa dietético completo que incluya una dieta proteinada en el centro médico PREV-AGE de Torre Pacheco, Murcia, desde el 1 septiembre 2016 al 31 diciembre del 2017. Se dividirán a los sujetos de estudio en dos grupos, el grupo A o control, quienes tras realizar la dieta especificada y perder el peso pactado, serán dados de alta de consulta, siendo ellos los responsables del mantenimiento de su peso. Y el grupo B o de intervención, en el que se realizará una acción más específica y continuada con la intención de reforzar el nuevo estilo de vida, pautándose visitas médicas periódicas y mediante la asistencia a charlas, talleres y actividades impartidas por el centro. A todos los pacientes se les citará a los 6 y 12 meses tras el cese del tratamiento dietético inicial, evaluando sí existe un mayor aumento de peso en el grupo control.

[eng] In my professional experience as a doctor i have been able to observe that obese patients have difficulties to keep lost weight after going through surgery. In this experiment we are going to assess wether there is a relation between the effect of losing weight after going through a diet categorized as low in proteins very much used in the treatment of obesity or on the contrary this increasement is due to the lack of adjustment to the new life style as a result of not changing eating habits or not exercising on a daily basis. To the effect we are to assess patients who go through a full dietetic programme which includes a diet low in proteins, this assessmente will take place in the medical centre PRE-AGE of Torre Pacheco, From the 1st of January to the 31st of December 2017. Patients will be divided in two groups, group A Or control group will go throgh a diet to lose the agreed weight, these patients will be discharged with special hygienic-dietetic measures to keep lost weight, being responsible for themselves to follow these measures. Group B or intervention group will follow a more specific and constant action seeing the doctor regularly where adapted exercise charts will be given,eating habits will also be assessed every two weeks, correcting possible mistakes and through the attendance of workshops taught in the medical centre. 6 and 12 months after the treatment all patients will be called and an anthropometric reasearch and a quetionnare will be given to each patient assessing if there is an increasement of weight.
