El discurs femení en l’art dels 70 i els 80: el cas de Judy Chicago i Mary Kelly

[cat] Els canvis socials, culturals i artístics en els anys 70 i 80 del segle XX marcaren un punt d’inflexió en el desenvolupament artístic contemporani degut a la incidència de noves formes de pensament, com ara el feminisme, inserit dins el marc del que teòrics anomenen postmodernitat. En aquest sentit, surten a la llum relats oblidats, essent un d’aquests el femení, que serà reivindicat per artistes, com Judy Chicago i Mary Kelly, que conjuguen la seva tasca artística amb la militància política. Les noves propostes artístiques feministes s’inseriran dins un discurs reivindicatiu entorn de la pròpia subjectivitat femenina, la glorificació del cos i l’autoconstrucció de la identitat, entre altres demandes lligades a la posició de la dona artista dins el circuit artístic dominant.

[eng] Social, cultural and artistic changes in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century marked a turning point in contemporary artistic development due to the incidence of new forms of thought such as feminism, inserted within the framework, of which theoreticians call postmodernity. In this sense, forgotten stories appear, one of these, the feminine one that will be claimed by artists who combine their artistic work with political militancy such as Judy Chicago and Mary Kelly. The new feminist artistic proposals will be inserted into a radical discourse about women's own subjectivity, the glorification of the body and the self-construction of identity, among other demands linked to the position of the woman artist in the dominant artistic circuit
