Les prediccions del canvi climàtic i els possibles efectes sobre el turisme a Mallorca

[cat] La dependència actual de Mallorca sobre el turisme i les seves repercussions econòmiques obliguen a conèixer de primera mà quin grau d’afectació tindrà el canvi climàtic sobre el turisme. Els models climàtics o escenaris de predicció tenen un cert nivell de incertesa, però poden ajudar a fer una previsió dels possibles efectes del clima sobre el turisme de Mallorca. L’objectiu d’aquest treball és conèixer els efectes del canvi climàtic sobre el turisme que visitarà l’illa i estudiar diferents tipus de turismes centrant-nos en tres zones d’estudi; Zones litorals, Turisme d’interior i Rutes cicloturistiques. La variació del nivell del mar, l’escassetat de precipitacions, els recursos hídrics, l’augment de les temperatures, etc. No tenim altre possibilitat que no sigui la d’aplicar mesures que puguin mitigar, de la manera més eficaç, els efectes del canvi climàtic sobre el turisme. Caldria una planificació previa tenint en compte les variacions del clima i el impacte que tindran sobre els recursos de Mallorca.

[eng] Current’s dependence of Mallorca on tourism and its economic repercussions force to know first hand the degree of affectation that climate change will have on tourism. Considering that climate models or prediction scenarios have a certain level of uncertainty, these need to be studied in order to know the possible effects of climate change on the tourism of Mallorca. The objective of this research study is to know the effects of climate change on the tourism that will visit the island and to explore the different types of tourism, focusing on three study areas. The sea level variation, low rainfall, water resources, increase in temperatures, etc. will have a key role on the tourism development of the coming decades. There is no other option than applying measures that may mitigate the effects of climate change on tourism in the most effective way. The previous planning should bear in mind the variations of climate and the impact that they will have on the resources of Mallorca.
