[eng] As the new markets are growing up constantly, one took my attention, a new market niche appeared, called “only women’s” tourism. Hotels, travel agents, and some tour operators all over the world are starting to take advantage of this novelty.
Is well-known the seasonality that Mallorca suffers, caused mainly because of the "sea, sun and sand" tourism, which appears just in the high season months and it is principally attracted by mass tourism. The aim to be pursued is to deseasonalize creating a safe space for empowered women from different ages, who travel alone or in group to Mallorca either for business, shopping, going to the beach, partying or all at the same time.
As I’ve always considered myself a bit entrepreneur and an empowered woman, I see this idea as a fresh, innovative, and great opportunity to take advantage in Mallorca in order to distinguish ourselves from the typical market of the island. What this project studies and analyses is the possibility and viability of opening a small 4 stars only women hotel and lesbian friendly in the centre of Palma de Mallorca. |
