A current approach of sustainable tourism in Mallorca

Abstract

[spa] Un proyecto de final de grado que analiza cómo los indicadores de capacidad de carga del turismo en Baleares nos demuestran que la realidad vivida en otras destinaciones turísticas saturadas no está muy lejos de suceder también en las islas, aplicando un enfoque sostenible de cómo afrontar esta situación tomando ejemplo de otras maneras posibles de gestionar nuestro entorno y turismo actual, desde un punto de vista global con un planteamiento estratégico totalmente distinto y fomentando otro tipo de oferta turística mucho más amable y concienciada con los recursos naturales no renovables que nos traen riqueza y bienestar a todos los habitantes de las Islas Baleares.

[eng] A final degree project that analyses how the indicators of tourism carrying capacity in the Balearic Islands indicate that the reality experienced in other saturated tourist destinations is not too far from happening in the islands, applying a sustainable approach to how to face this situation, taking as an example other possible ways of managing our environment and current tourism, from a global point of view with a totally different strategic planning and developing another type of tourist supply much more friendly and aware of the non-renewable natural resources that bring wealth and welfare to all the inhabitants of the Balearic Islands.
