[eng] The studies of the ecology of the populations are often based on techniques of capture, marking and recapture to obtain population traits, based on the characteristics of the individuals that compose them. For its correct development, it is necessary the use of individual recognition techniques that allow recapture of the previously marked individuals. In this study, the "Automatic Photo identification" (APHIS) software has been evaluated as a software capable of identifying individuals of Hemorrhois hippocrepis, during the ten sessions of capture and recapture with dead specimens, under laboratory conditions. By this individual identification, the procedure "Image Template matching" (ITM) was tested; Achieving a success of 100% of recognized individuals as well as a high average value of coefficient of similarity (5,80 ± 0,24). On the other hand, the folidosi was analyzed as a tool for individual recognition from the scales of females and males of Ibiza and Majorca. The folidosi as a tool of individual recognition was proved not to be effective due to the little variability among the studied individuals, obtaining of 52 statistical compared 7 significant (13,46% of total variation in the compared Statistics made). |
