L'ús de l'anglès oral a les aules

[cat] La nostra societat evoluciona i, per tant, també ho fa l’educació. Al llarg dels anys, la globalització i les noves tecnologies han provocat canvis molt significatius en els diferents àmbits o sectors de la societat; l’educatiu, per exemple. Entre altres, observem que, d’una banda, l’anglès ha assolit un paper imprescindible dins l’àmbit educatiu; fins i tot, s’ha convertit en mitjà de comunicació a matèries no lingüístiques. D’altra banda, els ordinadors o les pantalles digitals s’han transformat en recursos necessaris per al procés d’ensenyament-aprenentatge. Podem afirmar que el progrés ha millorat el rendiment acadèmic. Ara bé, la llengua oral a l’assignatura d’anglès continua sent un aspecte problemàtic per a la majoria de l’alumnat, ja que el nivell que tenen els estudiants espanyols dista de la mitjana europea. El problema rau en el mètode d’ensenyament. Per aquest motiu, hem elaborat un treball la finalitat del qual és analitzar la situació actual i elaborar una proposta que fusioni la innovació metodològica amb la informació proporcionada per un grup de docents de Menorca.

[eng] The different areas of our society have been changing over the years due to the globalization and new technologies. Such is the case of education: English is turning into the language of communication in some non-linguistic subjects and computers or digital screens are the new learning resources. The progress in society means improvement of the academic performance. However, the oral language in the English language subject is still one of the main problems, as the Spanish students’ level of spoken English is far from the European average. The problem lies in the teaching methodology. For this reason, the aim of this paper is to analyse the current situation and prepare a group of activities that combine methodological innovation with the information provided by some teachers of Menorca.
