Propuesta para un nuevo régimen económico y fiscal para las Islas Baleares

[spa] Los costes de insularidad representan un gran problema para las regiones insulares que ven como el coste de vida de sus residentes se ve incrementado. Además, las empresas baleares que comercializan con otras regiones pierden competitividad por el aumento de los costes de transporte y de producción de sus productos, por lo que son los consumidores los que soportan el sobrecoste provocado por el transporte de las materias primas o componentes necesarios para la fabricación de los productos. Además, al ser un territorio fragmentado y dependiente del transporte, los costes aumentan más con el tráfico de mercancías o con el transporte de pasajeros entre las distintas islas, por la situación de doble insularidad. A través de nuestro trabajo se realizará un análisis del transporte de pasajeros y mercancías por los dos medios de transporte disponibles para las Islas Baleares, es decir, vía marítima y vía aérea, y del comercio con el fin de desarrollar un plan de medidas para reducir los efectos provocados por la insularidad a los residentes de las islas.

[eng] Insularity costs represent a big problem for insular regions that see how the cost of living increased for their residents. In addition, the Balearic companies that commercialize with other regions lose competitiveness by the increase for the transport costs and for the production of their products, reason why they are the consumers those that bear the extra cost caused by the transport of the raw materials or necessary components for the manufacture of the products. In addition, as it is a fragmented territory and dependent on transport, the costs increase more with the traffic of merchandise or the transport of passengers between the different islands, due to the situation of double insularity. Through our work an analysis of the transport of passengers and merchandise will be carried out by the two means of transport available to the Balearic Islands, that is, by sea and air, and trade in order to develop a plan of measures to reduce the effects caused by insularity to the residents of the islands.
