[eng] The way reading is conceived by the society has changed in the 21st century
and it has had an impact on the teaching of English as a foreign language. The
way in which reading materials are presented to our students is changing
thanks to the incorporation of technological devices in the classroom
environment. This master’s dissertation main aim is to develop a didactic
proposal based on a reading comprehension activity in which competencies,
motivation and learning are fostered. The reading comprehension activity will be
carried out using ICTs and an online platform called Edpuzzle. Besides, the
focus of the activity will be put on the students. The didactic proposal is
addressed to students of 4th of ESO in the Spanish education system.
