[eng] With the popularization of rural tourism, the market demand for rural tourism
has been increasing significantly. Although many developed countries such as
the United States, France, Spain, and Japan have been prosperous in
developing unique rural tourism products, there are still widespread problems
on the market with unoriginal and single products, which can not meet the
different needs of tourists. Meanwhile, the human economy model steps into the
experience economy, which provides an excellent opportunity for the
development of rural tourism, as experience is one of the essential attributes of
rural tourism, furthermore, experiential rural tourism products can maximize this
advantage to attract tourists and improve competitiveness. Based on the related
research results, this paper analysis the characteristics of experiential rural
products, then put forward the specific strategies for the development of
experiential rural tourism products, and taking the Balearic Islands of Spain as
an example, which has a great development potential, this paper combines the
rural resources, to discuss the development of experiential rural tourism
products in the islands, and further come up with the problems may exist in the
developing process and relevant suggestions.
