¿Cómo es la experiencia de los padres durante la estancia en la UCIN? ¿Cuál es el papel de la enfermera?

[spa] Introducción: La prematuridad se define como nacimiento antes de las 37 semanas de gestación. En la actualidad cerca de un 10% de la población mundial son nacimientos prematuros y una de las consecuencias de la prematuridad es la estancia en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN), hecho que repercute directamente sobre los padres. Objetivos: El objetivo general de este estudio fue analizar el impacto psicosocial de la estancia en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales (UCIN) en padres/madres de recién nacidos prematuros y actuación enfermera al respecto. Metodología: Se llevo a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos BVS (Biblioteca Virtual de Salud), IBecs y PubMed, de acuerdo con sus áreas de conocimiento de las Ciencias de la Salud. Resultados: Los resultados de la búsqueda bibliográfica se detallan en una tabla resumen. En ella se describen datos como: título, autores, el país de procedencia y año de publicación, la revista, el diseño de estudio, los objetivos, las conclusiones y la fuente de obtención. Discusión: Los factores que afectan negativamente al impacto psicosocial de los padres son aquellos que interrumpen el vínculo entre padres e hijos. Por otra parte, aquellos factores que afectan positivamente son los que se centran en beneficiar dicho vínculo. Nuestro papel como enfermeras es el de acompañar y ayudar a la formación de este vínculo. Conclusión: Se tiene gran consciencia de los factores que afectan negativamente. Pero tenemos que averiguar cual es la mejor manera de solventarlos. Además, la enfermería tiene un gran papel en este asunto y, conociendo la respuesta a cómo eliminar dichos factores, nuestro cuidado y la calidad de éste mejorarían considerablemente

[eng] Introduction: Prematurity is defined as birth before 37 weeks of gestation. Currently around 10% of the world population are premature births and the consequences of the premise is the stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), a fact that has a direct impact on parents. Objectives: The general objective of this study was a psychosocial analysis of the stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in the parents of premature newborns and the attention of the nurse in this regard. Methodology: A bibliographic search is carried out in the VHL databases (Virtual Health Library), IBecs and PubMed, in accordance with the areas of knowledge of Health Sciences. Results: The results of the bibliographic search are detailed in a summary table. It describes data such as: title, authors, the country of origin and year of publication, the journal, the study design, the objectives, the conclusions and the source of the data. Discussion: The factors that negatively affect the psychosocial impact of parents are those that have been interrupted in the bond between parents and children. On the other hand, the factors that positively affect those who focus on the benefit of that link. Our role as nurses is the accompaniment and help for the formation of this bond. Conclusion: There is a great awareness of the factors that negatively affect. But we have to find out what is the best way to solve them. In addition, nursing has a great role in this matter and, knowing the answer to how to eliminate these factors, our care and the quality of it to improve and improve.
