Intereses vocacionales y altas capacidades intelectuales

[spa] La concepción de orientación vocacional ha evolucionado con los años, siendo entendida hoy como un proceso que incluye aspectos aptitudinales, motivacionales y de personalidad. Los intereses vocacionales del alumnado ACI comienzan a despertarse de forma precoz, siendo necesaria una intervención planificada desde las primeras etapas educativas. La multipotencialidad, las expectativas sociales y las diferencias de género son aspectos a tener en cuenta al abordar la elección vocacional de esta población. El presente estudio se plantea si la superdotación se relaciona con un perfil vocacional alto y plano, y si hay correlaciones entre aptitudes e intereses. Asimismo, en relación al género, se proponen relaciones positivas entre el género femenino y el interés social-asistencial, y entre el género masculino y el interés científico-técnico. Para la consecución de los objetivos se utiliza el cuestionario EXPLORA, la escala de inteligencia de Weschler, la batería de aptitudes BADyG y el test de creatividad Torrance. El análisis de los datos revelan correlaciones negativas significativas entre el interés social-asistencial y las aptitudes lógica y numérica; así como diferencias significativas en el interés técnico-manual entre género.

[eng] The conception of vocational guidance has evolved over the years, being understood today as a process that includes aptitude, motivational and personality aspects. The vocational interests of high abilities’ students begin to wake up early, and a planned intervention from the early educational stages is being necessary. Multipotentiality, social expectations and gender differences are aspects to consider when addressing the vocational choice of this population. The present study considers whether giftedness is related to a high and flat vocational profile, and if there are correlations between aptitudes and interests. Likewise, in relation to gender, positive relationships are proposed between the female gender and the social interest, and between the male gender and the scientific-technical interest. The EXPLORE questionnaire, the Weschler intelligence scale, the BADyG skills battery and the Torrance creativity test are used to achieve the objectives. The analysis of the data reveals significant negative correlations between the social interest and the logical and numerical skills; as well as significant differences in the technical-manual interest between gender.
