Colaboración interprofesional en el departamento de emergencias: Implicaciones para los actores y la organización

[spa] Introducción. El departamento de emergencias ha demostrado ser uno de los departamentos más cambiantes por varios motivos. La colaboración interdisciplinar podría ayudar a dicho departamento a provocar cambios positivos sobre el equipo y el paciente. Objetivos. El objetivo general del trabajo es analizar la evidencia científica sobre el impacto de la colaboración interprofesional en el departamento de emergencias hospitalarias. Metodología. Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica a través de las bases de datos Pubmed, EBSCOhost (CINHAL), ScienceDirect y Cochrane y se han selecionado los artículos según los criterios de inclusión/exclusión. Resultados. De la búsqueda, se han escogido 20 artículos, los cuales han sido analizados individualmente, detallando los autores, el país de procedencia, el año de publicación, la revista dónde se publicaron, el diseño, la fuente de obtención, los objetivos y, finalmente, las conclusiones. Discusión. A través del análisis de la bibliografía se recogen las implicaciones de la colaboración interdisciplinar en el servicio de emergencias a nivel de profesional de la salud, a nivel organizacional, las implicaciones para el paciente y los varios factores que interfieren sobre la colaboración interdisciplinar. Conclusión. Es necesario establecer la colaboración interdisciplinar en los departamentos de emergencias ya que la evidencia coincide en los beneficios de esta, tanto sobre el paciente como sobre el equipo profesional. Sin embargo, es necesario que se siga investigando en el campo.

[eng] Introduction. The emergency department has proven to be one of the most changing departments because of many reasons. Interdisciplinary collaboration could help the department to bring positive changes on the team and the patient. Purpose. This paper aims to analyze the scientific evidence on the impact of interprofessional collaboration in the hospital emergency department. Method. A literature review has been done through the Pubmed, EBSCOhost (CINHAL), ScienceDirect and Cochrane databases and the articles were selected according to the inclusion/ exclusion criteria. Findings. From the review, 20 articles have been chosen and analyzed individually, detailing the authors, the country of origin, the year of publication, the journal where they were published, the typology, the source of obtention, the objectives and, finally, the conclusions. Discussion. Through the analysis of the bibliography, the implications of interdisciplinary collaboration in the emergency service at the of health professionals level, at the organizational level, the implications for the patient and the various factors that interfere with interdisciplinary collaboration are gathered. Conclusions. It is necessary to establish interdisciplinary collaboration in the emergency departments because the evidence coincides in its benefits, both on the patient and on the professional team. However, it is necessary to continue researching in the field.
