[spa] En este trabajo de fin de grado se plantea cómo la sociedad de hoy en día, consumista y materialista, busca en el turismo un motivo para cambiar, para volver a sentir y tener un propósito en la vida. Es curioso vivir en la época de mayor bienestar social, peroa la vez de mayor insatisfacción personal. El turismo que puede llevar a las personas a un cambio tan significativo es el turismo transformacional. ¿Por qué no darle una oportunidad aeste tipo de turismo descubriendo cuál es su potencial?Para ello durante estas páginas vamos a desglosarlo y aprender sobre él. ¿Qué es? ¿De qué tipos se compone? ¿Cuál es la visión de los viajeros que ya lo han experimentado? ¿Cuál es la visión de los empresarios que ya tienen negocios en esta línea de turismo? ¿Cuál podría ser el futuro de nuestras islas con él?Para poder tener una visión más clara del pensamiento del viajero vamos a contar con las experiencias personales de veintiún viajeros que ya han experimentado que es eso del turismo transformacional.Debemos teneren cuenta que es una corriente turística a la que le han surgido muchas ramificaciones y diferentes maneras de interpretarla. Es importante por lo tanto obtener un buen entendimiento de todas sus partes, del papel que juega hoy en día y del impacto que tiene en la sociedad.

[eng] In this final’s degree project, we consider how today’s consumerist and materialistic society looks in tourism for a reason to change, to feel and have a purpose in life again. It is curious to live duringthe time of greater social welfare, but at the same time of greater personal dissatisfaction.Tourism that can lead people to such significant change is transformational tourism. Why not give this type of tourism a chance by discovering its potential?For this, during these pages we are going to break it down and learn about it. What isit? What types is it made of? What is the vision of travelers who have already experienced it? What is the vision of the entrepreneurs who already have business in this line of tourism? What could be the future of our islands with him?In order to have a clearer vision of traveler thinking, we will have the personal experiences of twenty-one travelers who have already experienced what transformational tourism is all about. We must bear in mind that it is a tourist trend that has had may ramifications and different ways of interpretingit. It is therefore important to obtain a good understanding of all its parts, the role it plays today and the impact it has on society.
