Preocupaciones de los residentes mallorquines respecto al turismo de la isla

[spa] El turismo en la isla ha aumentado con los años, por lo que la vida de sus residentes se ha visto afectada.El objetivo de este trabajo es averiguar qué piensan los residentes sobre algunos aspectos económicos, sociales y medioambientales asociados al turismo, así como sus preocupaciones según su perfil y características demográficas. Para ello, se realizó una encuesta a 150 personas que residen actualmente en Mallorca. Los resultados indican que hay una gran preocupación por la masificación turística y un gran interés por la reducción del turismo asociado al consumo de alcohol, el cual conlleva comportamientos incívicos que preocupan mucho a los residentes.Asimismo, hay un gran interés por la mejora en la regulación de los alquileres vacacionales y el turismo de cruceros y una gran preocupación por la contaminación atmosférica

[eng] Tourism’s islandhas increased over the years, that is the reason why their resident's life has changed so much. The objective of this case study is knowing certainly what residents think about some economic, social and environmental issues related to tourism and their level of concern considering the type of profile they have and their demographic characteristics. That is the reason why a survey has been carried out with the opinion of 150 people living on Mallorca island. The results are showing a high concern by the residents due to the overcrowding of the tourism and even more for the tourism associated with alcohol consumption, the one that involves undesirable behaviors and bad reputation of the destination. Furthermore, there is a big concern for the improvement in the regulation of vacation rentals, the cruise tourism and for the atmospheric pollution.
