professors novells.
[eng] How important is what we say? How do we say it? How do we express it? In
what way is the message perceived better? The following master's degree
project deals with the communicative skills faculty of physical education in their
classes when transmitting information.
The objective will be to analyze the communicative skills that physical education
teachers have, what relationship is established between these skills and the
time of practice within a session and observe if the teaching staff has sufficient
communicative skills to transmit information efficiently during physical education
classes and also, it can serve as a guide for the most novice teachers when
beginning to take their classes.
For the realization of this work, a total of five physical education teachers are
analyzed from the following schools: IES Sant Marçal, Sant Antoni Abat School
and Sant Pere School, the first center, is where I carry out the practices. The
capture of data will be done by means of the observation "in situ" and the
recording of data with a rubric on the behaviors of the verbal and nonverbal
communication and of the moment in which the communication throughout the
class occurs and at the same time , will also collect data on the time of the
explanations during the session, the time of motor commitment and the time
where the students do not reach the goal that will include the time they arrive at
the pavilion, the time they are prepared and the time left at the end of each
session to change clothes.
As we have said, what we expect from this study is to be able to see if the
teaching staff has enough communicative skills to transmit information
efficiently during physical education classes and also to serve as a guide for
novice teachers.
Finally, one of the most relevant results that we can observe throughout this
research work, among others, is that years of teaching experience do not
guarantee having more effective communication skills.
