[spa] Objetivo principal: evaluar factores perturbadores del sueño/descanso e implantar medidas que permitan mejorar la calidad del sueño/descanso de los pacientes en el Servicio de Urgencias de Adultos (SUA) de un hospital de tercer nivel.Metodología: La muestra estará formada por pacientes que pernoctan en el SUA de cualquier sexo, nivel sociocultural, edades entre 18 y 85 años y con un estado cognitivo normal. La participación será voluntaria. Por otra parte, los profesionales de urgencias que lo desean podrán colaborar en el estudio.Los materiales que se utilizarán son: luxómetro y sonómetro, cuestionarios de percepción ad hoc sobre el sueño/descanso (pacientes/profesionales), Cuestionario de Oviedo de Sueño y conjunto de medidas correctoras para mejorar el sueño/descanso.Se llevará a cabo en 4 fases: 1º (2 meses): medición de los niveles de luz y ruido ambiental, cumplimentación de cuestionarios; 2º (6 meses): implantación de medidas para mejorar la calidad del sueño/descanso. Control y seguimiento; 3º (2 meses): reevaluación de los efectos conseguidos y 4º (2 meses): análisis de los datos.Resultados principales: se pretende que los resultados confirmen las hipótesis y por tanto se cumplan los objetivos planteados.Conclusión principal: Las enfermeras de urgencias conseguirán mejorar la calidad sueño/descanso de los pacientes que pernoctan en urgencias. Urgencias Objective:the aim of this project is to evaluate sleep/rest disturbing factors and implement measures that improve the quality of sleep/rest of patients in the emergency department (ED) of a tertiary hospital.Methods: The sample will be formed by patients who spend the night in the ED of any sex, sociocultural level, ages between 18 and 85 years and with a normal cognitive state. The participation will be voluntary. On the other hand, emergency professionals who wish it may collaborate in the study.The materials that will be used are a luxometer and sound level meter, questionnaires of ad hoc perception on sleep/rest (patients / professionals), Oviedo Sleep Questionnaire and set of corrective measures to improve sleep / rest.It will be carried out in 4 phases: first, (2 months): measurement of light and environmental noise levels, completion of questionnaires; second, (6 months): implementation of measures to improve the quality of sleep/rest. Monitoring; third, (2 months): re-evaluation of the effects achieved, (2 months): analysis of the data.Results: the results are intended to confirm the hypotheses and thus meet the stated objectives.Conclusions: emergency nurses will be able to improve the quality of sleep/rest of patients who spend the night in the emergency department.
