[eng] Swimming is a minority sport which doesn’t have comparative studies that evaluate Clubs’ economic characteristics. The purpose of this project is to carry out a study about the management and financial-economic parts of five swimming teams (Real Canoe N.C, C.N. Sabadell, C.N. Palma, C.N. Salle-Palma and C.N. Eivissa) to analyse similarities and differences between these clubs. In order to achieve this, an interview was conducted with the person in charge of the financial aspects of each team, so as to learn the general characteristics of their management and economic balance. The results show similarities in team management areas such as organization chart, social networking and benefits for club members. Differences were found in the number of members that each club has. Finance-wise, despite there being big differences in budget, they produced similar results percentage-wise, with salaries being the biggest outlay and the club membership fee being the key to sport entitys’ support.
