dc.description.abstract [eng] This document exposes a study of the succession plan in a Family Firm located in the Balearic Islands. This research tries to find answers of how to keep the continuity of a Family Firm and guarantee that it survives. There are some conflicts that affect to this type of companies which make them more vulnerable. To plan a succession in advance, having clear the requirements successors must accomplish and sharing the same values and goals with the new generation will help to ensure their continuity. The new generations members and the retiring generation ones will have to work together to face the internal conflicts. ca
