El turismo de negocios como tipología turística desestacionalizadora

[spa] El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar, a través de la encuesta de turismo de residentes del INE, el comportamiento de la demanda turística nacional, y más concretamente el caso del turismo por motivo de negocios. Para ello se realiza una revisión en la literatura y, posteriormente, se plantean una serie de cuestiones a las cuales se pretende dar respuesta con ayuda de los datos de la encuesta y que se trata de reforzar con la aplicación de un modelo econométrico. La principal conclusión es que el turismo de negocios se caracteriza por una estacionalidad invertida y un gasto medio por turista superior al resto del sector.

[eng] The objective of this work is to analyze, through the INE resident tourism survey, the behavior of national tourism demand, and more specifically the case of business tourism. To do this, a literature review is carried out and, subsequently, a series of questions are raised to which it is intended to answer with the help of the survey data and which is to be reinforced with the application of an econometric model. The main conclusion is that business tourism is characterized by inverted seasonality and an average expenditure per tourist higher than the rest of the sector.
