Clúster BIOIB: Una visión sobre la gestión estratégica de empresas del sector biotecnológico y biomédico de las Islas Baleares

[spa] En el presente trabajo se analizan las actividades realizadas en el clúster de empresas del sector biotecnológico y biomédico de las Islas Baleares (BIOIB). Se presentan los objetivos principales del clúster BIOIB para la dinamización del sector biotecnológico, la colaboración entre los diferentes actores del sector y la diversificación de la actividad económica de las Islas Baleares, así como su relación con empresas del ámbito de la nutrición. Se desarrolla en profundidad el sector biotecnológico a nivel nacional y regional y se analiza el impacto del clúster sobre el sector. Se realiza este análisis para su inscripción conforme al decreto 6/2019 del Boletín Oficial de las Islas Baleares por el que se crea y regula el Registro de Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras de las Islas Baleares. Se describen los proyectos más relevantes en el ámbito de la nutrición de las empresas asociadas al clúster. Se recopilan los aspectos más destacados de las jornadas de actualización de la estrategia de diversificación económica de las Islas Baleares (RIS3), para impulsar estrategias competitivas en el sector biotecnológico, la reunión de actores de Compra Pública Innovadora, como instrumento de financiación, y la conferencia de la propiedad industrial como herramienta para proteger las innovaciones.

[eng] The present work analyzes the activities carried out in the cluster BIOIB, the association of institutions of the biotechnological and biomedical sector in the Balearic Islands. The main objectives of the cluster BIOIB focuses on the biotechnology sector growth, the cooperation between different entities and the diversification of the economic activity of the Balearic Islands, as well the cluster’s relationship with nutritional enterprises. The biotechnology sector is developed in depth at a national and regional level and an analysis of the clusters impact on the sector is made. This analysis is carried out for the cluster’s registration according to decree 6/2019 of the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands by which the Register of Innovative Business Groups of the Balearic Islands is created and regulated. The most relevant projects in the field of nutrition of the cluster associated businesses are described. Lastly, compilates an update of the Regional Diversification, Opportunities and Smart Specialization Strategies of the Balearic Islands (RIS3), for the biotechnology sector competitive strategies promotion, the meeting of Innovative Public Procurement, as a financing support, and the industrial property conference as a tool for innovation protection.
