dc.description.abstract [eng] Modern societies are facing more and more complex problems that impact on the life of their citizens. One of the most important examples are segregation processes produced by socio-economic differences among individuals and groups. In this thesis, we propose a model for studying Residential Segregation processes for Economical Reasons. Residential because we are interested in spatial distributions of housing and for Economical Reasons in order to understand how income differences could configure modern urban environments. Based on the works of Granovetter[1] and Schelling[2][3], we propose a model for understanding Residential Segregation processes motivated for economical reasons, and by combining it with an Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedacity model (ARCH)[4], how segregation and economical inequalities dynamically reshape cities from housing perspective and their impact in the economical evolution of cities. ca
