[eng] The present end-of-degree project focuses on family tourism, specifically we will analyse its evolution and trends in the Balearic Islands.
First, we must make a brief definition of this tourist model and explain its origins, as well as the impact it has on the Balearic Islands, main destinations in which it predominates, main motivations and characteristics of its target market. With this we want to facilitate the reader to have an overview of the current situation of family tourism.
Next, we will propose a different perspective to the classic model that persists in the islands, from the point of view of the family segment. For this we must propose a series of innovative and original tourism alternatives capable of boosting the family segment towards a more sustainable and quality tourism in the Islands, offering tourists a different offer to the current one. Once this is done, we will analyse the adapted holiday offer necessary to implement quality family tourism and be a specialized destination. We will see the resources that must be developed and some examples of companies that have managed to evolve creating specialized products and services for this tourist segment. |
