dc.description.abstract [eng] The communicative process is complex and difficult. Health professionals establish daily direct contact with patients, family members and multidisciplinary team. Communication is an essential clinical competence with a number of benefits if the process is effective. In this article of reflection the communicative process and the importance in different fields of action are analyzed, emphasizing the importance of personal (relational) qualities and aspects such as verbal and nonverbal communication.
