| dc.description.abstract | [eng] After taking a look at different teaching programs from different editorials it has been noticed that informal-lexico grammatical items have been neglected in textbooks in the English as a foreign language classroom. The curriculum states that students need to be exposed to real and authentic contexts and materials brought to them in a communicative way and with communication as its goal, thus the importance of giving visibility to said items and features. Therefore, it is the aim of this dissertation to raise awareness and give different proposals on how to introduce some of those items and make them part of the syllabus. In order to do so Schmidt‟s noticing hypothesis will be the main foundation with which to build most of the activities after reviewing its benefits for grammar teaching, always having a communicative approach as the common theme for teaching in the EFL classroom. | ca |
