Les competències emocionals i l’estil educatiu docent en l’Educació Primària

Abstract

[cat] Les competències emocionals poden definir-se com a la capacitat i habilitat de poder expressar, experimentar i regular els fenòmens emocionals. Aquestes, per tant, serà important que es desenvolupin i potencïin en l’àmbit educatiu. Aquesta investigació es centra en l’avaluació de les competències emocionals en docents d’Educació Primària de Mallorca i en la posterior relació dels resultats d’aquestes amb l’estil educatiu docent, entès com a conjunt de creences i valors presos en consideració en l’educació. Per fer-ho possible els instruments utilitzats són el SEC-Q (Qüestionari de competències emocionals i socials), el PEE-pd (Qüestionari de Perfils Educatius) i una entrevista semiestructurada que ens permet conèixer l’interès i preocupació envers les competències emocionals de cada centre avaluat. A nivell metodològic es farà ús d’una metodologia combinada, quantitativament es recolliran els resultats obtinguts en els qüestionaris i qualitativament, es realitzarà una anàlisi de la realitat individualitzada viscuda a cada centre. Amb relació als resultats, s’ha obtingut un nivell mig alt en competències emocionals i la majoritària presència d’estil educatiu assertiu en els docents avaluats. D’aquesta manera, s’ha donat el compliment de la hipòtesi principal de la nostra investigació, la relació entre els alts nivells en competències emocionals i la presència d’estil educatiu assertiu en la majoria dels casos avaluats. En conclusió es reafirma la importància d’incloure formacions i promoure el desenvolupament en competències emocionals per assolir una major satisfacció i un assoliment de beneficis en la comunitat educativa.

[eng] Emotional competencies can be defined as the ability and capacity to be able to express, experience, and regulate emotional phenomena. Therefore, it will be important for them to be developed and strengthened in the field of education. This research focuses on the evaluation of emotional skills in teachers of Primary Education in Mallorca and the subsequent relationship of their results with the teaching educational style, understood as a set of beliefs and values taken into account in the education. To make this possible the instruments used are the SEC-Q (Questionnaire of emotional and social skills), the PEE-pd (Questionnaire of Educational Profiles) and a semi-structured interview that allows us to know the interest and concern for the emotional skills of each center evaluated. At the methodological level, we will use a combined methodology, the results obtained in the questionnaires will be collected quantitatively and qualitatively, an analysis of the individualized reality experienced in each center will be carried out. In relation to the results, the evaluated teachers obtained a mediumhigh level of emotional competencies and the majority presence of assertive educational style. In this way, the main hypothesis of our research, the relationship between high levels of emotional competence and the presence of an assertive educational style in most of the cases evaluated have been fulfilled. In conclusion, the importance of including training and promoting development in emotional skills is reaffirmed in order to achieve greater satisfaction and the achievement of benefits in the educational community.
