El crèdit de síntesi com a recurs per a treballar les ciències socials: una proposta innovadora per als centres de les Illes Balears

[cat] El present treball és una proposta de crèdit de síntesi dirigida a un centre d’educació secundària de les Illes Balears. La metodologia del crèdit de síntesi es basa en fer una sortida a final de curs, lluny del centre, on es posin en pràctica totes les competències, habilitats i destreses apreses per l’alumnat durant tot l’any acadèmic en cadascuna de les assignatures que cursen. Creiem que l’aplicació d’aquesta metodologia, feta servir ja a Catalunya, on és part del currículum pedagògic, pot ser de gran ajuda per al desenvolupament i aprenentatge de l’alumnat de les Illes Balears. En la nostra proposta, estudiants de 2n d’ESO viatjaran a Tarragona per dur a terme un crèdit de síntesi ambientat en les etapes medieval i moderna de la ciutat i la seva relació amb les Illes Balears. Centrat, això sí, en l’assignatura de Geografia i Història.

[eng] This paper builds a proposal for the application of the crèdit de síntesi (lit: credit for synthesis) methodology on high schools located in the Balearic Islands. This methodology consists in the undertaking of a field trip at the end of the academic year away on which the students are away from home for three to four days. On this trip a selection of competencies, abilities and skills the students have learned and mastered throughout the year in all subjects are put in practice. We believe the adoption of this methodology, which has already been implemented in neighbouring Catalonia for many years, would greatly aid the learning process of balearic high schoolers. In this proposal, 2nd year high school students would travel to Tarragona to take part in a crédit de síntesi. The theme and focus of the field trip would be the history of the city through the medieval and early modern eras and its historical relation to the Balearic Islands.
