[eng] This project is carried out with the aim of analyzing the fiscal financial profitability of the different alternatives of private saving for retirement available in Spain. These financial instruments are important because of the uncertainty surrounding the future of the Spanish public pension system, as they are designed to supplement people’s retirement pension. Therefore, a study is carried out of each of the different instruments and the most important aspects of each are compared, such as the taxation of their contributions and bailouts, as well as their expected profitability. Finally, using an equation that calculates the return on investment after tax, practical assumptions of the investment in the different financial instruments are presented to show which of them is more profitable.
