La geografia del turisme a l'ensenyament secundari de les Illes Balears

[cat] Les Illes Balears són un arxipèlag amb el turisme com activitat econòmica hegemònica, essent aquesta el major condicionant del desenvolupament socioeconòmic de les illes. Tal fet posa de manifest la necessitat d’una formació de qualitat en aquesta matèria a qui serà part de la futura societat plenament turistificada. Aquest treball de recerca fa un anàlisi de com es tracta la qüestió turística als currículums oficials i els principals materials didàctics que es veuen a l’etapa de secundària mitjançant el seu buidatge, examinant tant el marc curricular com els llibres de text de major difusió, sempre al marc de la geografia. D’aquesta manera, es pretén fer una radiografia de l’ensenyament sobre el turisme i veure l’enfocament que té aquesta temàtica a les aules secundària de Balears, així com avaluar les característiques dels materials que es subministren a l’alumnat i fer una breu reflexió en clau de millora per aquesta matèria.

[eng] The Balearic Islands are an archipelago with tourism as the hegemonic economic activity, this being the biggest determinant of the socio-economic development of the islands. This fact highlights the need for quality teaching in this area to those who will be part of the future fully immersed-in-tourism society. This research makes an analysis of how the issue of tourism is treated in the official curricula and the main didactic materials that are seen in the secondary stage by studying them, examining both the curricular framework and the most widely circulated textbooks, always within the framework of geography. In this way, the aim is to make an overview of the teaching on tourism and see the approach that this topic has in the secondary classrooms of the Balearics, as well as to evaluate the characteristics of the materials that are supplied to the students and make a brief reflection on the key to improvement in this area.
