dc.description.abstract [eng] In this thesis, the final objective is to detect military vessels from a distance of 500 metres from an underwater unmanned vehicle. This research offers a path towards that objective, reaching the election of a magnetometer, the development of software that can be integrated in the existing one and the detection of various metallic masses, including two vessels of more than 10.000 tons. The results are not completely conclusive and there is still work left to do in further research. ca
