Los efectos económicos de la actual pandemia en el sector turístico balear

Abstract

[spa] En este trabajo hemos estudiado y analizado como la pandemia del COVID-19 ha afectado a la industria turística Balear, primero explicando que partes de la economía han aportado más al PIB balear, hemos expuesto las variables que hemos creído más útiles para analizar la evolución de la economía turística como son el flujo de turistas, el gasto turístico y las pernoctaciones, para la economía hemos seleccionado el PIB, el paro y las afiliaciones a la seguridad social por parte de los trabajadores y empresarios y para estudiar el efecto de la pandemia hemos realizado un estudio de correlación y regresión entre estas variables y la tasa de infectados COVID-19 en las islas Baleares. Todo este estudio en su conjunto nos dará los datos necesarios para confirmar o desmentir si el COVID-19 ha afectado a la economía turística Balear.

[eng] In this project we have exposed and analysed how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the Balearic tourism industry, first explaining which parts of the economy have contributed more to the Balearic GDP, we have analysed the variables that we have believed most useful to analyse the evolution of the tourist economy such as the flow of tourist, tourist spending and overnight stays, for the economy we have selected the GDP, unemployment rate and social security affiliations by workers and owners and to study the effect of the pandemic we have carried out a correlation and regression study between these variables and the rate of COVID-19 infected in the Balearic Island. All this study as a whole will give us the necessary data to confirm or deny if the COVID-19 has affected the Balearic tourism economy.
