dc.description.abstract [eng] Nowadays few studies have analysed the importance of festivals for tourism in Spain. The data established from the GDP growth in 2018, indicates that festivals are consolidated as a new business model (Buceta, 2019). According to the economic impact denoted through representative cases selected (Sweden, Nigeria, Thailand, New Zealand, EEUU and Spain), this research addresses the importance of the Public-Private partnerships, henceforth PPP’s. A PPP is consisting of strategic union within the private and the public sector (Sharma and Bindal, 2014), which is occurring on a globalized contextualization where the impact of public tools uses for conducting on improvements, specially concerning the economic components. The analysis regarding the involvement of the public sector in cultural festivals, have demonstrated how a PPP would transform this tourism segment towards efficiency. Even so, serval lessons are provided by PPP evidence demonstrations, permitting the entailment of this partnerships. ca
