El buidatge d'edificis en el patrimoni arquitectònic de Palma

Abstract

[cat] El següent treball analitza el patrimoni urbà des d’una perspectiva estètico-antropològica. Concretament, es centra en les problemàtiques que el turisme de masses i la pressió immobiliària exerceixen sobre dit patrimoni. A causa d’això, la investigació girarà entorn d’una de les pràctiques més esteses, el buidatge d’edificis. Aquesta consisteix en eliminar la part interior per només deixar la façana, emmascarant la nova construcció. Així doncs, l’estudi es basarà en determinar les causes i les implicacions que dita pràctica tenen sobre la ciutat històrica i sobre la població.

[eng] The following investigation analyses the urban heritage from an aesthetical and anthropological point of view. It is focused on the problematics that mass tourism and the real estate companies produce on this type of heritage. Due to this, the investigation will study one of the most common exercises, the emptying of buildings. This practice consists of the elimination of the interior of the building leaving only the façade, covering up the new indoor construction. Thus, the research will be based on pinpointing the causes and implications that this praxis has on the historic city and on the population.
