Análisis comparativo del turismo por motivos religiosos

Abstract

[spa] En este estudio se observan tanto los datos del turismo religioso actual, como los intentos llevados a cabo por diversos autores para distinguir entre los conceptos de peregrinaje, turismo religioso y ocio, además del porqué de las distintas motivaciones que tienen los creyentes (y no creyentes) de realizar esas peregrinaciones o de asistir a los lugares o ciudades santas, según su edad, sexo, escala económica, país de origen y de llegada, o si su creencia es ferviente o menos vehemente, y la religión concreta que profesan de entre las tres tratadas en este trabajo, entre otros factores. Asimismo, se analiza el impacto de la historia y libros sagrados o profetas de cada una de estas religiones y sus lugares de devoción en las posteriores acciones de sus practicantes en cuanto a peregrinaje y actual turismo religioso, y cómo han ido cambiando estas manifestaciones de culto para cada uno de ellos a lo largo de los siglos, además de estudiarse las nuevas tendencias de los últimos años, que parecen sugerir un nuevo paradigma con grandes oportunidades pero también otros tantos problemas a evitar o resolver.

[eng] In this study we observe both the data on current religious tourism, as well as the attempts carried out by various authors to distinguish between the concepts of pilgrimage, religious tourism and leisure, as well as the reasons for the different motivations that believers (and non-believers have) to carry out these pilgrimages or to attend holy places or cities, according to their age, sex, economic scale, country of origin and arrival, or if their belief is fervent or less vehement, and the specific religion they profess from among the three treated in this work, among other factors. Likewise, it is analyzed the impact of the history and sacred books or prophets of each of these religions and their places of devotion on the subsequent actions of their practitioners regarding pilgrimage and current religious tourism, and how these manifestations of worship have been changing. for each one of them throughout the centuries, in addition to studying the new trends of recent years, which seem to suggest a new paradigm with great opportunities but also many other problems to avoid or solve.
