realidad social.
[eng] This work is based on the hypothesis that, in times of crisis, the population
modifies its consumption behavior, and that they put basic needs, such as food,
before any other. For this reason, we have focused our study on assessing the
changes in consumer behavior resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. We have
limited the study to the Spanish working population.
In this research we studied the economic resources allocated to food and hygiene
products, which we have considered basic needs. In order to obtain an overall
view of the change in COVID-19, we have studied other sectors such as training
and leisure. Within the latter, we will focus on tourism and catering, the two most
affected areas.
We also thought it would be interesting to analyze the moment in which these
changes in consumption were actually generated, as well as their causes. Finally,
we will describe the new trade techniques developed in the face of this new social
reality.
