[eng] China's civil aviation industry is currently in a critical period of recovery and development after the epidemic. As an important part of the civil aviation industry, airports play a role that cannot be ignored. This article focuses on the management and ownership of China’s airports, and concludes them into three types: government owned and directly managed; government owned and delegated managed; mixed owned and delegated managed. At the same time, this article lists several representative airport management and ownership attributions worldwide, such as the US model and the UK model. Then, the advantages and disadvantages of airport privatization are critically analyzed. Finally, this article draws the conclusion that airport privatization will truly bring many benefits to China's airports, but it has a long way to go in China.
