[spa] Introducción: Los adolescentes tienen unas peculiaridades y necesidades que se pueden ver modificadas por una patología como el cáncer. La actuación del equipo de sanitarios y de psicólogos tiene una gran importancia en el afrontamiento de la enfermedad. Por eso, se pretende conocer qué herramientas pueden permitir al adolescente empoderarse y capacitarse frente a los obstáculos del cáncer.
Métodos: Consta de una encuesta cualitativa con muestreo probabilístico protocolizado y con preguntas de tipo cerrado y varias abiertas. El diseño es transversal para los adolescentes en tratamiento y retrospectivo para los supervivientes en el Servicio de Pediatría. La encuesta se realizó por vía Google Encuestas y se envió por correo electrónico a 37 adolescentes a través de la psicóloga de ASPANOB.
Resultados: El humor, los vínculos sociofamiliares, el optimismo, la resiliencia, han protagonizado el empoderamiento de los adolescentes contra el cáncer. Durante el ingreso, mencionan la necesidad de coincidir con otros adolescentes que hayan pasado por la misma enfermedad. En el curso del tratamiento y tras finalizar este, expresan cómo empoderar a sus iguales, a través de la valentía, la capacidad de mantener la mente lejos de la enfermedad, crear aficiones y nuevas relaciones sociales.
Conclusiones: Los adolescentes diagnosticados de cáncer deben ser tratados en Unidades Onco-Hematológicas Pediátricas donde se ofrezcan Servicios dirigidos a las demandas que estos necesitan, ofreciendo estrategias de atención sanitaria que incluya elementos clínico-psicológicos que fomenten la reparación emocional a través del bienestar, el optimismo y la resiliencia para capacitarse y empoderarse frente a esta patología oncológica
[eng] Introduction: Teenagers have some peculiarities and needs that can be modified by a pathology such as cancer. The performance of the healthcare

team and psychologists is of great importance in coping with the disease. Therefore, it is intended to know what tools can allow teenagers to empower themselves and train themselves in the face of cancer obstacles.
Methods: It consists of a qualitative survey with protocolized probabilistic sampling and with closed questions and several open ones. The design is cross-sectional for adolescents in treatment and retrospective for survivors in the Pediatric Service. The survey was conducted via Google Surveys and was sent by email to 37 adolescents through the ASPANOB psychologist.
Results: Humor, socio-family ties, optimism, resilience, have been the protagonists of the empowerment of adolescents against cancer. During admission, they mention the need to coincide with other adolescents who have had the same illness. During the course of treatment and after finishing it, they express how to empower their peers, through courage, the ability to keep their minds away from the disease, create hobbies and new social relationships.
Conclusions: Teenagers diagnosed with cancer should be treated in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Units where services are offered that address the demands they need, offering health care strategies that include clinical-psychological elements that promote emotional repair through well-being, optimism and resilience to be trained and empowered in the face of this oncological pathology.
