Proyecto de innovación de impacto: zona sin dinero

Abstract

[spa] Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado supone presentar el proyecto innovador, en este caso la organización de un evento con impacto social y medioambiental. El proyecto denominado “Zona sin dinero” trata de aliviar los efectos negativos de sector textil y del consumo desmedido de fast fashion (moda rápida). Promoviendo el intercambio de ropa, zapatos y accesorios de moda sin necesidad de usar el dinero como medida de valor, se apoya la idea de reutilización y reciclaje de prendas que antes podrían acabar en vertederos de residuos y se les asigna un valor único, indicado por el mismo artículo. Problemas como liberación de micro plásticos al océano, uso de tintes peligrosos o uso en exceso de agua para cultivar plantas para fabricación de tejidos; el proyecto pretende aportar una solución parcial para estos problemas. El impacto que pretende generar es un llamamiento a las empresas textiles, para que revaloren su actividad y políticas medioambientales. Colaborando con alguna organización sin ánimo de lucro, junto con el resto de los participantes se puede crear una cultura colaborativa suficientemente fuerte como para reducir la huella contaminante de dicho sector.

[eng] This Final Degree Project consists of presenting an innovative project, in this case the organisation of an event with a social and environmental impact. The project, called the “Cashless Zone”, aims to alleviate the negative effects of the textile sector and the excessive consumption of fast fashion. By promoting the exchange of clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories without the necessity of using money as a measure of value, the project supports the idea of reusing and recycling clothes that might previously have ended up in landfills and assigns them a unique value, indicated by the item itself. Problems such as the release of micro plastics into the ocean, the use of harmful fabric dyes or the overuse of water to grow plants for fabric manufacturing; the project aims to provide a partial solution to these problems. Its impact is a call to textile companies to re-evaluate their environmental activity and policies. By collaborating with a non-profit organisation, together with the rest of the participants, a collaborative culture strong enough to reduce the pollution footprint of the textile sector may be created.
