[eng] This final project aims to offer an overview of the main business practices and
their analysis carried out by a multinational firm in the tourism industry, the
Online Travel Agency.
The analysis in this paper is composed by three segments. First, to have a
better understanding of the subject, I am going to present the main concepts of
a multinational company, such as: what is a multinational company, how do they
enter a market, how do they operate and the main effects they suffer through
external influences. Secondly, to consolidate the previous concepts, I am going
to present the case study, the Online Travel Agencies. I will present the history
and evolution that the travel booking systems have suffered over the past
decades, a company description with an overview of the different operation
model they use, a summarize of the sales strategies that they implement and a
detailed market analysis using different models learned during the course.
At the end, I will state a conclusion with question that have arose during the
paper.
