El alquiler vacacional, un antes y un después

[spa] El aumento exponencial del alquiler vacacional a lo largo de los años ha hecho que los factores determinantes para este aumento, como son muchos de los atractivos formados por tecnologías, cambio en los gustos y preferencia por un producto más auténtico, hayan sufrido una gran evolución. Factores como las plataformas ‘’Peer to Peer’’ se han actualizado a las demandas de parte de los consumidores para poder satisfacer y ofrecer una mejor experiencia tanto a los ofertantes como a los demandantes, dando así lugar a muchas más plataformas diseñadas con las mejores tecnologías para ofrecer este tipo de alquiler. Por otro lado, esto ha conllevado a la aparición de muchas consecuencias como la falta de una legislación clara para regular este tipo de alojamiento que, frente a otros sectores como el hotelero, está menos regulado. Ahora bien, también ofrece beneficios como pueden ser económicos, sociales y culturales ya que muchas zonas se han renovado para satisfacer las expectativas de los turistas, consecuentemente estas reformas han ayudado a la calidad de vida de los residentes. Esta calidad de vida también se ha visto afectada muchas veces por el aumento del precio del alquiler que ha conllevado la ‘’turistificación’’ y ‘’gentrificación’’. Todo esto hace ver que el alquiler vacacional no es solo una casa que se alquila a un turista, sino que afecta a otros sectores y factores directa o indirectamente como son la economía, la sociedad y los residentes habituales y también puede conllevar no solo a beneficios sino también a externalidades negativas.
