Explainable Artificial Intelligence: LIME vs CEM

Abstract

[spa] Vivimos en un mundo de contínuo desarrollo tecnológico donde la inteligencia artificial cada vez toma más poder. Es por ello de vital importancia poder conocer tanto los resultados que nos proporcionan este tipo de algoritmos, como entender por el propio humano porqué han sido generadas esas soluciones. Aquí es donde aparece el concepto de Explainable Artificial Intelligence, XAI, técnicas capaces de suministrar al humano las explicaciones necesarias para entenderlos resultados obtenidos porlaI A. En este proyecto se compararán dos de las XAI más utilizadas en algoritmos de IA sobre imagénes, LIME y CEM, para posterior mente comparar sus explicaciones sobre dos tipos distintos de data sets, uno numérico (MNIST) y otro de rostros humanos sintéticos llamado UIBVFED.

It is for this reason that it is vitally important to be able to know both the results that this type of algorithm provides us, and to understand by the human him self why these solutions have been generated.Thisis where the concept of XAI, Explainable Artificial Intelligence,appears techniques capable of providing the human with the necessary explanations to understand the result sobtained by the AI. In this project,two of the mostusedXAIsinAIalgorithmson images, LIME and CEM,will be compared,to later compare their explanations on two different types of datasets,one numerical (MNIST) and theotherof human faces representing facial expresions.
