Turismos de cruceros

Abstract

[spa] El siguiente trabajo de fin de grado tiene como propósito analizar el turismo de cruceros, el cual ha experimentado un continuo crecimiento en los últimos tiempos. Para ello, se lleva a cabo una introducción del sector con una breve definición, la evolución histórica y la situación actual donde la pandemia ha marcado un antes y un después. También se analizan los impactos del sector crucerista a nivel económico, social y medioambiental. A continuación, se realiza un análisis DAFO con el objetivo de conocer las principales debilidades, amenazas, fortalezas y oportunidades del segmento de cruceros. Además, se explica la situación de “overtourism”, es decir sobreturismo, en Venecia, donde ha habido un crecimiento exponencial en la cifra de turistas durante los últimos años, lo que hace que sea insostenible seguir a este ritmo. Seguidamente, se mencionan los distintos retos a los que se han tenido que hacer frente debido al COVID-19, que ha afectado gravemente al turismo a nivel mundial. Por último, se exponen una serie de conclusiones.

[eng] The following final degree project aims to analyse cruise tourism, which has experienced a continuous growth in recent times. To do this, an introduction of the sector is carried out together with a brief definition, the historical evolution and the current situation where the pandemic has been a turning point. Then, the impacts of the cruise sector at an economic, social and environmental level are also analysed. Next, a SWOT analysis is carried out with the aim to discover the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the cruise segment. In addition, the situation of "overtourism" in Venice is explained, where there has been an exponential growth in the number of tourists in recent years, which makes it unsustainable to continue at this rate. Next, the different challenges that have had to be faced due to the COVID-19 are mentioned, which has seriously affected tourism worldwide. Finally, a series of conclusions are presented.
