La importancia de la mediación intercultural en la práctica de Trabajo Social

[spa] El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene por objetivo dar a conocer la mediación intercultural como una herramienta esencial para resolver conflictos y su aplicación en la práctica de Trabajo Social, además de reconocer la importancia de la mediación intercultural debido al creciente aumento de las relaciones sociales en nuestra sociedad. Debido a la llegada de personas que provienen de países tercermundistas a España se dio un aumento de la conciencia profesional sobre la necesidad de incorporar la figura del mediador intercultural dentro de la acción social. A través de una aproximación bibliográfica se remarca las fortalezas y debilidades en el ejercicio de la mediación intercultural y la incorporación que esta figura ha hecho en la actualidad.

[eng] The aim of this Final Degree Project is to present intercultural mediation as an essential tool for resolving conflicts and its application in the practice of Social Work, as well as to recognize the importance of intercultural mediation due to the growing increase of social relations in our society. Due to the arrival of people coming from third world countries to Spain, there was an increase in professional awareness of the need to incorporate the figure of the intercultural mediator within social action. Through a bibliographic approach, the strengths and weaknesses in the exercise of intercultural mediation and the incorporation that this figure has made at present are highlighted.
