Situación actual de las mujeres inmigrantes en situación de prostitución en las islas Baleares. Perspectiva profesional

Abstract

[spa] Las mujeres inmigrantes en situación de prostitución viven una realidad insegura, inestable y difícil a la cual deben hacer frente de manera diaria. Si bien no es solo eso, también han tenido que pasar por procesos migratorios donde se han visto expuestas en gran medida por el simple hecho de ser mujer. Junto a eso, el papel que ejercen las trabajadoras sociales en ámbitos relacionados con la prostitución se encuentra enfocado en poder ayudar a estas víctimas del sistema patriarcal, si bien las medidas de las que disponen son insuficientes. Esta investigación se encuentra enfocada en dar una amplia perspectiva sobre el mundo de la prostitución así como cuáles son las funciones principales que ejercen las profesionales en estos temas. Los resultados obtenidos han sido mediante el análisis de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a las trabajadoras sociales, habiendo hecho una selección de los aspectos más importantes para poder llevar a cabo una comparación teórica con la información que ha sido buscada y, a partir de esto, se ha planteado una conclusión al respecto.

[eng] Immigrant women in a situation of prostitution live an insecure, unstable and difficult reality that they must face on a daily basis. Although it is not only that, they have also had to go through migratory processes where they have been exposed to a great extent for the simple fact of being a woman. Along with this, the role played by social workers in areas related to prostitution is focused on being able to help these victims of the patriarchal system, although the measures available to them are insufficient. This research is focused on giving a broad perspective on the world of prostitution as well as what are the main functions performed by professionals in these issues. The results obtained have been through the analysis of semi-structured interviews with social workers, having made a selection of the most important aspects in order to carry out a theoretical comparison with the information that has been sought and, from this, has drawn a conclusion on the matter.
