Les representacions iconogràfiques d’Afrodita i Venus lligades al món marí

Abstract

[cat] Al present Treball Fi de Grau s’han estudiat tres temes iconogràfics de la deessa Afrodita / Venus al llarg de la Història de l’Art: el Naixement d’Afrodita / Venus, l’Afrodita Marina, i el Triomf de Venus. Hem recollit obres artístiques des d’Època Clàssica fins a la Contemporània. A més d’analitzar els tres temes iconogràfics hem consultat les fonts literàries que es corresponen a aquestes èpoques. Finalment, les aportacions al treball han consistit en explicar i distingir cada un dels tres temes de la divinitat Afrodita / Venus i apreciar el tractament i els seus respectius canvis segons l’època. Hem aconseguit explicar tres episodis marins de la divinitat Afrodita i Venus a partir de l’anàlisi de nombroses i diferents tipologies artístiques.

[eng] In this final study, we have studied three iconographic themes of the goddess Aphrodite / Venus throughout the History of Art: The Birth of Aphrodite / Venus, Marine Aphrodite / Venus, and the Triumph of Venus. We have collected artistic works from Classical to the Contemporary era. In addition to analyzing the three iconographic themes, we have consulted the literary sources that correspond to these periods. Finally, the contributions to the work have consisted in explaining and distinguishing each of the three themes of the goddess Aphrodite / Venus and appreciating its treatment and its respective changes according to the epoch. We have been able to tell three marine related episodes of the deity Aphrodite and Venus from the analysis of numerous and different artistic typologies.
