[eng] Today's education tries to train students to become competent people who can solve situations in an optimal way in their real life. For this reason, the educational community has to adapt to the needs of the students without neglecting the conceptual and knowledge part. This work includes the application of a different methodology to the traditional ones applied in Physical Education classes. This methodology is called Sports Education (hereafter referred to as SEE) and was created by Daryl Siedentop in 1994. This model understands that students have to experience real situations in sport so that they can transmit it to their own real situations. Among the basic characteristics of this methodology are the execution of different roles throughout the sessions, reduced games, competition throughout the season with a final festival, etc.). The present study aims to apply the MEE pedagogical model in a Ultimate didactic unit with 3rd ESO students in order to find out its effect on motivation and the feeling of group affiliation. The sample consists of 35 students (23 boys and 15 girls). The study was carried out during this didactic unit with a duration of 8 sessions, each lasting 55 minuts. An initial questionnaire (PeerMCYSQ), the proposal of the didactic unit with this methodology, the interviews with the students and finally the final questionnaire (also PeerMCYSQ) were carried out to check if there are significant improvements in motivation and affiliation to the group with this pedagogical model. The results showed that motivation and the feeling of group affiliation improved. The students highlighted the affiliation with their team, the participation of everyone equally and a greater motivation to practice sport. Finally, it should be noted that we have to favour the inclusion and the motor commitment of the students in Physical Education classes.
